Interesting to think of this in #permacomputing terms -- it is entirely rational and desirable to adapt and reuse the gear found everywhere, used PCs in thrift shops etc. But these machines also limit our ability to think beyond their confines.
Every PC and laptop is fundamentally designed around the needs of corporations.

#Trump is somewhat right. Gas prices are going down. When gas prices are, on average, at $3 and going down, yes, you're getting closer to $2 gas prices.
#NBCNews is, however, correct that gas prices are up now vs. a year ago...by five cents.
In any case, I don't think #Trump did anything in regards to gas supply or prices lately, so he can't take any credit for this dip. It is likely a seasonal decrease IMHO.

In web-pages, I have less control. Sometimes they're helpful(ish), other times they're just a distraction. Though ad-blockers help immensely.
